Information on Protection and Processing of Personal Data

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("PDPL") and related legislation, Comnet Information Communication Technologies Inc. ("Comnet") would like to inform you, as the Data Controller, about the processing of your personal information within the framework explained below.

I. Purposes and Legal Grounds for the Processing of Personal Data

Comnet processes your personal data for the following purposes and legal grounds:

  • For use in the products and services provided under the Electronic Communications Law No. 5809 and related legislation,
  • To fulfill storage, notification, reporting, and other obligations arising from relevant legislation,
  • To meet information and document requests from the Information Technologies and Communication Authority and other relevant authorized authorities,
  • To offer other products/services of our company,
  • To fulfill the requirements of the service contract, and
  • To obtain personal data as a Data Controller in terms of European Laws and Regulations, mainly in the performance of the service contract.

II. Persons/Organizations with Whom Personal Data Can Be Shared for the Purposes Mentioned Above

Comnet may share your personal data with the following persons or organizations within the framework of the relevant legislation:

  • Persons and legal entities authorized under the Electronic Communications Law No. 5809, Law on Regulation of Broadcasts via the Internet and the Fight against Crimes Committed through These Broadcasts No. 5651, and related legislation,
  • Group companies for the performance and control of services within the scope of your service contract, parties working in cooperation with our company, program partners and other third parties.

III. Method of Collection of Personal Data

Your personal data can be collected through channels such as the website, Online Transaction Center, Call Center, our company's mobile applications, social media platforms, service contracts, solution partners, orally, in writing, or electronically.

IV. Your Rights under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698

By applying in writing to Cobancesme Mah, Kımız Sok. No:40 Bahçelievler, ISTANBUL, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data has been processed,
  • Request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for its purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
  • Request correction if your personal data is incomplete or inaccurately processed,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth in Article 7 of the PDPL,
  • Request the notification of the processes carried out in accordance with the clauses (d) and (e) to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • Object to the emergence of a result against you because it is analyzed exclusively by automated systems,
  • To request compensation in case you suffer damage due to being processed against the law.

IV. How Your Personal Data Is Protected

Comnet attaches great importance to the protection of personal data. Comnet undertakes to keep your personal data confidential, to take all kinds of precautions for the security and privacy, and to take the necessary physical, technical, and administrative precautions to protect personal data against unauthorized access or damage, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Despite taking necessary information security measures, if personal data is damaged due to attacks on the website and system, or if it falls into the hands of third parties, Comnet immediately informs you and the Personal Data Protection Authority and takes the necessary measures.

V. Changes

Comnet can make changes to this Personal Data Protection Policy at any time. These changes will take effect immediately upon the publication of the amended new provisions and/or policies on the website. In case of such a change, the necessary information will be provided to our users.
